Once you have downloaded Email Marketing Director you will need to unzip the download file to a location on your computer. Once you have done that follow these easy steps:

Step 1. The installation file

Once you have unzipped the installation file to you computer, locate and double click it to begin the installation process.

Step 2. Install Welcome Screen

The next screen will welcome you to the installation process. It is strongly recommended that you exit all other programs when installing Email Marketing Director. Click "Next" to continue.

Step 3. End User Licence Agreement

Before installing please read the Email Marketing Director Licence Agreement. Once you have finished you must check the "I have read and agree to the terms of this license agreement. Once checked you will be able to proceed. click "Next" to continue.

Step 4. Destination Location

Email Marketing Director will install itself to the folder on you computer that you choose. By default it will install to "C:\Program Files\EmailMarketingDirector/" If you wish to install to a different location click "Browse" to choose a different directory. Once you have chosen you folder for installation, click "Next" to continue.

Step 5. Backup Replacement Files

During the installation process you have the option to create backup copies of all files replace during installation. Please choose Yes or No. If you choose to create backup copies, these files will be used when the software is uninstalled and a rollback is requested.

Step 6. Start Installation

You are now ready to Install Email Marketing Director. Once you click "Next" you will be begin the install process. Click the "Back" button if you want to choose a different install folder or change your backup replacement files option.

Installing

Once Email Marketing Director begins installing, you should see a screen similar to this. If you do not, please contact Arial Software technical support at 307-587-1338 for assistance.

Installation Completed!

Email Marketing Director has now been successfully installed. If you wish to run the program now, keep the "Run program automatically when install is finished" check box checked. If not, uncheck it. You will find a program icon and menu group has been added to your Windows Start Menu under programs. Click this icon at any time you wish to run Email Marketing Director.
